Be still and know that I am God-8/08/26
Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God...".
Some people who need healing would be helped if they learned to shutdown their mind completely from the incessant onslaught of sensory input. I will remove myself from the battlefield of the mind. The context of verse 10 can be found in verse 9, which says, "He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth...". Many people read that to mean war between nations. I don't disagree with that assessment, but believe it applies to each mind as well.
The Lord is my shepherd-7/20/26
Psalm 23 verse 1 reads,"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing". Those who belong to Jesus Christ are likened to sheep. They need a shepherd. Other sheep don't provide for them. The shepherd provides for them.
As a full time minister, I live by faith. Although I don't have a problem asking the body of Christ for donations, I rarely do so. I provide donation links for those who are led by the Spirit to donate into this ministry, but I try to maintain the attitude that it's really the Lord moving the heart of someone to give.
Christians need to be sensitive to the Spirit, so that they will sow into a ministry by following the prompting of the Lord and without the ministry having to ask for help. In 14 years of being a full time minister, I haven't been late on one bill. I have no debt and my wife and I have always had a roof over our heads.
I believe it's important to note this:
We've been generous in giving.
We continue to do the work of the Lord.
We walk uprightly before the Lord.
We try to remain sensitive to the Spirit of God.
We're quick to repent if we've sinned.
God is faithful to his word.
