I feel a thousand times better-9/21/26

John 16:13 says, But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Waiting on the leading of the Spirit in order to engage people with God’s power and truth is very effective. Today, 9/21/2026 I felt the power of the Holy Spirit for a man and knew that he had pain in his body. Quickly and to myself, I asked the Lord where the pain was. I heard in the spirit, shoulder. I told this fella that I was a minister and asked him if he had pain in his shoulder. He said, “Yes, my shoulder, neck and back. I was in an accident years ago and it never fully healed”. I ministered to him for about 10 seconds and when I was done, he looked like he was drunk with peace. LOL. I said, “You’re feeling a lot better, aren’t you”? He replied, “I feel a thousand times better”! (haha… not sure what that feels like, but I know it’s good). Then, he asked me if I take donations. I told him that he didn’t have to donate to my ministry because of that, but he said that he wanted to, so he gave me $40. Interestingly, this morning I gave someone $20, knowing that he needed it. You can’t out give God, when you’re giving by the leading of the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will teach you-9/16/26

1 John 2:27 says, As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

Most of what I’ve learned concerning the spiritual life in Jesus Christ has come from reading the bible and not from the sermons of the pulpit. The Holy Spirit is the one who helps you understand the bible.

 

The power of giving-9/09/26

Luke 11:41 says, but rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

Do you see the power of giving in this verse? In the context of this verse Jesus was rebuking the hypocritical pharisees for putting on a show for the people. They made themselves look good on the outside, but inside they were full of wickedness. Giving with the right heart attitude makes us clean. The word clean being used in this verse is from the Greek word, katharos and it means, clean, clear and pure.

Shame on you devil!-9/05/26

Psalm 109:29 says, Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle. The devil often tries to put shame on me because of past sins that I have repented of. Jesus has taken my shame, so I tell the devil, “No, the shame is on you”! The devil and all evil spirits have an enormous amount of shame on them because they’ve played a major role in all the shameful behavior people have engaged in.

In Glorious Splendor-9/03/26

Luke 9:30 says, Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus.

In Luke 9, Jesus is on the mountain with Peter, James and John. His appearance became as bright as lightning and there appeared with him in glorious splendor were Moses and Elijah. The bodies of Moses and Elijah were dead, but they weren’t dead. If you’re a true believer in Christ, you will be living forever in glorious splendor once your body dies.

 

Only a few enter heaven-8/30/26

Luke 13:23-24 says, Someone asked him, “Lord, are only a few people going to be saved”? He said to them, “Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to”.

Matthew 7:13-14 says, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it”.

May all those who identify as Christian become extremely sober-minded about the days we live in and diligent about the bible they read. Above are verses of the same topic from 2 different gospels that we need to take seriously.

War in the soul-8/15/26

Ecclesiastes 8:8B says,  "As no one is discharged in time of war, so wickedness will not release those who practice it".

Since this is true, we can conclude that the person behaving wickedly must go through the war in their soul and overcome in order to be released from wickedness.

Be still and know that I am God-8/08/26

Psalm 46:10 says, "Be still and know that I am God...".

Some people who need healing would be helped if they learned to shutdown their mind completely from the incessant onslaught of sensory input. The context of verse 10 can be found in previous verse.

Psalm 46:9 says, "He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth...".

It's common to see war between nations, but war is much more common in each mind.

The Lord is my shepherd-7/20/26

Psalm 23:1 says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing".

Those who belong to Jesus Christ are likened to sheep. They need a shepherd. The shepherd cares for and provides for the sheep.

As a full time minister going on 15 years, I live by faith. Although I don't have a problem asking the body of Christ for donations, I rarely do so. I provide donation links for those who are led by the Spirit to donate into this ministry. In all the years as a full time minister, I haven't been late on one bill. I have no debt and my wife and I have always had a roof over our heads.  There are reasons. We've been generous in giving. We continue to do the work of the Lord. We try to remain sensitive to the Spirit of God. We're quick to repent if we've sinned.
